Shipping policy:

At melissakis.gr, we want you to enjoy our premium Cretan products as quickly and reliably as possible.

Shipping Destinations

Greece: Nationwide delivery to all regions, including islands.
European Union: Fast and secure delivery to all EU countries, secured by FedEx.
International: Worldwide shipping available. Please contact us for special rates and delivery times if your country is not listed at checkout.

Processing Times

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.
Orders placed on weekends or Greek public holidays are processed on the next business days.
All orders are carefully packed to ensure products arrive in perfect condition.

Shipping Costs and Estimated Delivery times

Shipping costs are calculated before proceeding to checkout and added to your total at checkout.
For deliveries outside the EU, additional customs fees or import taxes may apply. These are the responsibility of the customer.
Delivery times for EU Countries: 8-12 days.
Delivery times for Internation destinatios except above: 14-21 days. Customs might cause delays in delivery times.

Shipping Restrictions

We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.
Some countries may restrict the import of olive oil or food products – please check your local regulations before ordering.

Return policy:

If you wish to return the product you received because it is defective, wrong or you simply changed your mind, you can submit a return request, up to 14 days from the date you received it.

For sales with a receipt, simply complete the return request.
For sales with an invoice, issue the return delivery note and complete the return request. When we receive it, you will be issued with the relevant credit note.
In both cases, the return package must contain the purchase receipt or the invoice that accompanied the products.

Return terms:

If you wish to return the product, the following terms apply:

Products that have been opened cannot be returned.
After 14 days the date you received it, we do not accept returns for any reason.
Each user account is entitled to one free return per year. Each additional return is subject to a return and reshipment shipping charge.
If you receive a damaged or very defective product, at the same time you start the return process, send photos of the products to [email protected].
If you receive a product with a small dent or bump of other minor defect, it is likely that it occurred due to unexpected conditions during transport. BEFORE proceeding with a return, send photos of the products to [email protected], so that we can assess the extent of the damage and whether a return is necessary.
If you received a different product from the one you ordered, BEFORE proceeding with a return, contact [email protected].

Compensation terms:

If you do not wish to return and receive a new product and get a refund, the following terms apply:

The refund process begins from the date the product is successfully returned to us.
If payment was made via credit/debit card, a period of up to 30 business days is required for the money to be credited to your account. This period of time is defined by the card payment system and “P. MELISSAKIS AND CO. GP” has nothing to do with possible delays due to third party actions.
In the event of withdrawal of the order (“change of mind”), the return costs are paid by the customer and all the above terms apply

“P. MELISSAKIS AND CO. OE” reserves the right to abolish or modify its shipping and return policy. Before each purchase, read these terms carefully. In the event of repeated returns or in the event that “P. MELISSAKIS AND CO. OE” notes a possible abuse of the right of return or the customer acts in bad faith, “P. MELISSAKIS AND CO. OE” reserves the right to refuse the return of the product even if the above terms and conditions are met.
